The first advanced USB A-Scan system from the leader in ophthalmic ultrasound.
Highlights
Innovation: Software algorithms and advanced hardware designs enable quick and easy examinations of all eye types.
Accuracy: High frequency and low noise electronics provide precise measuring performance of ACD, lens thickness and axial distance.
Portable and network ready: easily transportable and can be used on numerous computers.
User friendly Software: making use and reporting fast and easy.
Personalized Exam Reports: for patient tracking and monitoring.
Complements the Master-Vu B-Scan or the VuMax
Additional Features
- Touch screen compatible
- Comparative IOL calculation, up to eight lenses
- Stores up to 20 multi-scans with auto measurement algorithms for ACD, Lens thickness and Axial length
- EMT storage compatible
Clinical Applications
The A-Scan functions can be used to measure the axial length of the eye. Because it uses sounds waves, instead of light, the A-Scan can penetrate thick cataracts to take measurements. Systems that use light waves would not be suitable for any patients with thick cataracts.
Included Accessories
Three probe styles are available depending upon user preference and scanning application:
- Direct contact probe for immersion or slit-lamp mount application
- Soft-touch probe for hand held scans with minimal corneal compression
- Standard Solid A-Scan Probe
